This auction is for two Great Britain and Northern Ireland 1971 encased proof sets with one showing the former sterling coins in use for centuries and the other the new decimal coinage that permanently replaced sterling. The Brilliant Uncirculated coins, sealed in place for almost 50 years, are a must have for collectors of British coinage.
