    Description

Up for auction is an unsigned unmarked antique painted cast iron horse figurine with a hole in its belly, so maybe originally had a rider or saddle or both.  This was recently found at auction in Lancaster County PA.  It is ~5" long and ~4.5" tall.  Heavy enough to be a door stop or book end, seems small for the door stop and not flat enough for a book end so possibly just a decorative figurine, maybe had a native American indian riding bare back as there is a stripe of paint on its head but no bridle.  All guesswork.  Doubt it was a lamp.  Glue on the bottom so originally had felt for displaying on nice wood surfaces.  Somewhat crude casting, rugged.
    Best of luck in bidding.
