    This is a beautifully decorated sand painted vase. The wedding vase decor includes the popular warrior on a bowing horse motif. I'm sure no connection was intended by having a warrior on a wedding vase.
    The reverse side, decorated with three feathers pointing upward, can be interpreted as reflecting hope for the future.
    While sand painted, framed pictures are rather common, this is the only sand painted vase we've run across during our travels.
