Black Steatite Carving Stone for Peace Pipe & Crafts, Stone Slab B17

Here is very nice piece of black steatite like the one pictured. It appears greenish gray but amazingly polishes up almost black----very beautiful.
It is a little softer than Minnesota pipe stone, a real pleasure to work with.
This stone is similar to the picture and measures about
3-3/8
inches long by 2-1/2
" high

by
1-1/8 inch thick
.
The pipe does not go with the sale. It's an example of how the stone will finish when polished.
There will be very little waste in this piece.
The stone was sprayed with water so you can get a better idea of how it will finish.
