Description

Original pre-WW1 era German-made Modelo Argentino 1909 bayonet manufactured under contract for Argentina by Weyersberg Kirschbaum & Co in Solingen, Germany. Unfortunately this bayonet was not stored well - there are a few pitting spots on the spine of the blade as well as on one side of the handle. There is no scabbard. Original wood handle grips are well-worn with a few ding marks here and there; all parts are tight with no play. Bayonet release mechanism is 100% functional. The bayonet is about 17" / 43 cm overall; the blade is about 11-3/4" / 30 cm long. Muzzle ring is excellent; a few rust spots are are noted for accuracy. There is no scabbard.
