Description

A 1970 proof set of the coinage of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. As the decimal coinage system was adopted in 1971, these coins are some of the last minting of the old currency. Included here are a florin, halfcrown, sixpence, English shilling, Scottish shilling, penny, threepence, and halfpenny. They are in uncirculated proof condition and are protected in an acrylic case, against violet fabric. The case comes with original mailing cover, a dark violet card holder, COA and a guide to each coin.
