    Description

    We are offering an original Panorama view print titled  1.) The Lower Mississippi Fleet, led by Admiral Farragut in the Flagship Hartford, Running the Port Hudson Batteries, Saturday Night, March 14 - U. S. S. Mississippi on Fire and Aground - Crew Escaping    2.)   Destruction of the U. S. Steamship Mississippi, Saturday Night, March 14, in the Mississippi River, below Port Hudson - Explosion of the Magazine  dated 1863.
    The full page size is approximately 22 1/2 x 32 1/2 inches.  The top print (No. 1) is approximately 10 x 30  inches; the lower print (No 2) is approximately 9 1/2 x 10 inches. The condition is Good to Very Good; there are several creases (from being bound) going down and across the print; there is a 2 3/4  inch tear in the top print on the right side coming down from the top  (not repaired). The print is shown lighter in the large picture than it actually is, because of the flash.   Please check photos and ask any questions you may have.  Please watch for more listings on the Civil War between late 1862 and late 1863.
