    Description

    A Big Mac is still a Big Mac, but an Ice Cream Sundae is a Sundae-Is.  Offered is a vintage Norwegian language placemat menu from McDonalds.
    The paper placemat (like the one you would get if you were sitting down at a local McDonalds) is about 13" wide by about 9 3/4" tall.  As you can see in the photos, it contains color pictures of the various menu items and their names.  Some items, like the Big Mac, have the same name in English and Norwegian.  Others, like the Quarter Pounder with Cheese (Quarter Pounder m/ost) got translated into Norwegian.  And, there's an add for Tuborg Beer, something you likely wouldn't see at your local McDonalds.
    It's the perfect item for a McDonalds collector, the perfect gift for a homesick Norwegian speaker, and a great gift for a student learning the Norwegian language.
    We brought this placemat/menu back from a trip to Europe more than 30 years ago.  Since then, it has been securely stored in a closet in our non-smoking home.  Overall, the item is in great shape.
