Description
We are pleased to present this magnificent corn maiden storyteller with tableta headdress gear. I have seen this type of headdress referred to as Santo Domingo but don't quote me on that as it was only a reference I saw. Many of the southwest tribes identify with corn as it was a primary crop. The belief is that Corn Maiden was created in the right hand of the Great Spirit.
This beauty has wonderful details from the kernel of corns to the detailed hand painting going all around.
She stands 8 3/4" tall by 2 3/4" at widest.
This gal has some weight to her, she weighs 1 pound unpacked.
Signed on the bottom by the artist.
This item is new and never owned. No chips cracks or dings.
I try to think of most details in a listing however should you have questions please do not hesitate to contact. Thank you for looking.
