    Beautiful Native American pot by Santa Clara Pueblo artist Carol Velarde (aka Velarde-Brewer).
    This is a deep-cut coil built, stone polished bowl with deep carved designs which featuring
    the water serpent Avanyu along with steps and arrows.  This Native American artist
    specializes in precisely carved black pottery, often outlining the carved edges with a matte finish.  A lovely example of collectible Santa Clara pottery by a respected and known artist.
