Condition: This picnic jug is in good shape with only a few areas where the paint has rubbed away (on the bottom) or is about to chip. The top plastic part is in need of a cleaning but, otherwise, it's in great condition with the exception of the piece that holds the spout lid to the spout which is broken. Finally, the interior is in near perfect shape. The box, however, is in very rough shape.

We came across this fantastic find at a recent estate sale. You are reviewing a 1 gallon insulated picnic jug, the Thermex from Poloron. The jug is in great shape for it's age showing only some paint rubs and chips on the lower, metal part. The spout lid connector is also broken (like almost all of these jugs), but the lid is still there. The inside of the jug is in darn near pristine condition. The original "drinking cup" is still with the jug as well. The original cardboard box is in rough shape.
Give the top part of the cooler and cleaning and it's like you're back in the Sixties.
