WWI Swiss M1914 Schmidt-Rubin Pioneer-Engineer Sawback Bayonet+Leather Scabbard

Description

WWI M1914 Swiss Schmidt-Rubin Pioneer-Engineer Sawback Bayonet with Leather Scabbard. Ricasso is marked "Waffenfabrik" over "Neuhausen", the crossguard is marked "95164" and the underside of the crossguard has a Swiss cross. Everything is tight with minor wear. The blade is mostly clean with
a few scabbard in-out scratches
, it doesn't appear to be sharpened but is very sharp, the tip is also sharp, and it does have a few nicks on the last 4" by the tip. Lock button is functional. The leather scabbard has tight stitching, no crazing, a few very small spots of loss, and has the remnants of a Swiss cross on the ball finial
. The hanger bar has part of the leather frog strap attached. Length of the blade measures 18 7/8" (1 3/16" wide x 1/4" thick sawback spine), length of the bayonet is 24", and overall in the scabbard it is 25".
